So I'm a student again. That's probably the reason for not writing a blog post since late August.
So what will a BFA do for me? First of all, it'll give me some self respect and the respect of others having actually earned some higher education. Secondly, I think it'll improve me as a person. So far what I've learned in school as been invaluable. Studying the classical era, understanding some of the greatest philosophies in history.
"Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional"
One of the great quotes by Buddha that can really help you through many of the tough times. Having a greater understanding of some of the greatest thinkers in history has made me a much happier person.
Who knows? I may end up actually going for a MFA or PhD in visual arts as well. Mostly just to gain a better understanding of what makes us as humans tick and what makes our society go round.
